Join us for a ribbon cutting and open house celebrating the launch of the Extraordinary Thrift Store! Stop by between 3:00 and 5:00 pm to enjoy light refreshments and explore the completely refreshed and refurbished space.

The official ribbon cutting will take place at 4:00 pm.

The Extraordinary Thrift Store is the newest venture of Chapel Hill–based nonprofit Extraordinary Ventures and marks an exciting expansion into the heart of Carrboro. For nearly 20 years, Extraordinary Ventures has built self-sustaining small businesses with a focus on creating meaningful jobs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism.

The opening of the Extraordinary Thrift Store preserves a longtime community resource while bringing renewed energy, improved accessibility, and expanded inclusive employment opportunities to Carrboro. We can’t wait to welcome you to shop with us!
